Asus P320 Now Official

One of the newly Pocket PCs showcased by Asus at the CeBIT Fair 2008 in Hannover, Germany, is Asus P320, a device that has been designated as the smallest Pocket PC to feature integrated GPS.

Asus P320 comes with quad-band connectivity (GSM 850/900/1800/1900/), it weighs only 105 grams (including battery) and measures 99 x 55 x 13.35 mm – way smaller than any other product coming from the Taiwanese producer. The stylish look of the device resembles HTC’s Touch Pocket PC, but this one is much better stuffed with techs. The handset runs the latest Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 OS and features GPRS and EDGE Class 10 data transfer technologies.

The new P320 is powered by a Ti OMAP 200 MHz CPU and embeds 128MB flash and 64MB DDR memory. Its 2.6 inch TFT LCD touchscreen offers an astonishing image display, even if it supports only 65k colors. The handset also features an integrated GPS receiver, WiFi, USB 1.1 and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. Moreover, we also have a 2 Megapixel camera with auto focus (no flash capabilities unfortunately).

Asus P320 should be available in two color versions (black and pink) starting June 2008, for a retail price of about 400 Euros ($600).
