8 Megapixel Motorola Z12 Zine coming next summer?

According to Spanish gadget blog Gizmos.es, Motorola is already working on as yet unannounced MOTO Z10 RIZR multimedia handset successor , probably called Motorola Z12, as a part of new multimedia phone line-up, called ZiNE.
The rumored MOTO ZiNE Z12 should feature 8 megapixel camera and 3x optical zoom, is developed together with Kodak and should be announced next summer. MOTO Z12 will have the same kick-slider form factor as Z8 and Z10, but will be a little bigger to accommodate larger touchscreen. Motorola Z12 ZiNE will keep the physical keyboard and will add Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS chip.

According to Gizmos.es, they were able to extract all this juicy info from Motorola reps after the official RAZR2 V8 launch event in Spain, yesterday.
The description of Motorola Z12 fits very nicely with a blurry picture of
8 mpx Motorola Scarven prototype, we showed you last month. On the other hand it contradicts a bit the info about Motorola’s future handset strategy under 4 mobile phone lines: RAZR, ROKR, ZOOM and Multi Q.
No way to be completely sure, but I think that both of these reports are true. Motorola is steadily loosing ground in mobile phone market and desperately needs both a new strategy and new extremely attractive handsets to get back on top.
3.2 megapixel Moto Z10 won’t do and it’s even too late for a 5 mpx flagship to garner much media and consumer attention, especially outside the United States.

The 8 megapixel Kodak camera with 3x optical zoom featuring MOTO Z12 ZiNe (confirmed) smartphone, with big and bright 2.8″ VGA (640×480 px), 16 million color touchscreen, Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities, would be just the phone to revive Motorola’s fortunes and to lead the already confirmed 20-30 new Motorola handset line-up of 2008.
