‘Deco-Den’ for Japan’s cell phone princesses

Cell phone bling and personalization take on a new meaning thanks to "Hime-Den" and "Deco-Dens" trend setters in Japan.
According to
3yen, ‘Hime-Den’ comes from Hime meaning “Princess” and Den for Denwa or "phone". Basically, it refers to keitai loving girls who can spend hundreds of dollars of (their parents) money each month to dress up their cell phones.
There’s even a dedicated fashion magazine called “Deco-Den”.
