Self cleaning displays for your Sony Ericsson Walkman & Cyberhot Phones

The more brighter and colorful the displays on the new mobile phones become, the more often everyone have to clean them.

Now Sony Ericsson seems to have come up with a simple and elegant solution to the problem - self cleaning mobile phone displays.The idea (described in one of SE patent applications) is to add a cleaning slider to the display and couple it to the opening/sliding mechanism of the phone itself.
When the phone is open, the slider rests at the top of the screen. Then, during the closing process of your flip-phone, the slider moves to the bottom of the display, wiping it clean. And then wipes it once more when you are opening the phone again.

The same process works beautifully with a slider phone form factors to. When you slide open/closed the keyboard, cleaning slider moves through the display wiping it clean. Simple, elegant, very useful and easily implemented.
