The information about HTC Clio 200 and HTC Clio 100 UMPC appeared on FCC site at the end of November.
There wasn’t much details about these Clio devices at the time, but people in the know quickly concluded that these are HTC Shift UMPCs, headed for the U.S.
They were right. Today the external photos and users manual for Clio 100 became public. It leaves no doubt, that Clio 100 is in fact HTC Shift UMPC for GSM/HSDPA networks.
And, since Clio 100 and Clio 200 are identical in all things, except cellular network support, that also confirms that the Clio 200 is HTC Shift for CDMA/EVDO networks.

From spec and design point of view, HTC Shift is one of the best UMPCs around. Contrary to the most of the competition it can operate for days as a mobile data/PDA device, with always on connection to 3G networks. Also, when needed, HTC Shift can become a full blown ultra mobile PC with full fledged Windows Vista Business OS and all necessary Office and other productivity applications.
