Motorola MOTO Z9 sales sheet leaks

For all that Motorola gets wrong, messes up and generally makes a fool of themselves, I still have a soft spot for the lumbering cellphone giant. Hell, my first cellphone was a StarTAC, and I’ve had a couple of other handsets with the swooping M logo since. So it’s nice to see a cellphone that actually looks to be going in the right direction (unlike the dreary announcements at the Mobile World Congress); a sales spec sheet for the MOTO Z9 has leaked out, and it shows that Motorola do actually know a little about what their target audience is wanting. In this case, it’s a quadband slider with HSDPA, A-GPS and WMP11.

Going head-to-head with Samsung’s U700 and Nokia’s 6500, the Z9 will have 45MB of internal memory and microSDHC compatibility up to 8GB, CrystalTalk background noise reduction and a 2.4-inch QVGA display. A 2-megapixel camera with flash and USB 2.0 port, together with music control keys that light up when appropriate, round out the specs.

No suggestion of release date yet, but if they’re putting sales literature together then it’s fair to assume they’ll be launching it soon.
You can see the full sales sheet here.
